Self Portraits...

it`s hard. it is.
drawing or painting your own self without using refs...
challenging yourself to dig deep and find how your inner being sees your outer shell.
well, usually I go for the most obvious features I can recall. and I just go the Cartoon, stylized, and sometimes graphic route. but now and again I try and commit to a more "realistic" approach, though as I`m looking at these right now I can honestly say - I don`t look anything like that! :)

most of these were just for fun.

the Halloween cat and the err.. generously proportioned lady for example.
since I`m a proud member of the ArtJumble group,
I`ve been coming up with some fun things for the latest topic "Magical Mustache".
